Assuming the printer is TCP/IP based and depending on how their VPN tunnels
work you could also potentially create a host name on the IBMi that points
to the VPN IP tunnel address.

Use case is the company is closing the office (now permanently) and sending
everyone to "home" offices. This IPDS/AFP printer has to go home with the

You could, but you would probably need the Windows drivers or drivers for
whatever platform you're running ACS ON.
If that's the case why not just use an HP printer driver unless you happen
to have an AFP-only printer.
Unless ACS printer support can do binary passthru of the AFP stream.
What's the use-case ?
