Depends on how the connection is made. In RPG, there is no explicit connect, so I assume the connection of the calling profile is used. I don't know how PHP connects to DB2: Explicit user profile credentials (like it's usual in Linux with MySQL), or also implicit through the user profile, the PHP CGI is started with.
