That all depends on the type of media, but there should be several. I think for my QIC drives I have like 3 tapes for OS/400 and 2 for PTFs. On round reel it's a lot more :)

The latest those will run is V3R2M0 and I managed to get a full set with
PTFs about 18 years ago now. Believe me I keep them in my fire proof
vault and have 3 copies.
I can image, that finding today the needed software is pretty hard. Could you tell me, how many tapes are used for the full installation? I would be curious, if my tapes here are complete.
