local user groups still exist in North America. as well as their annual 1-3 day local conferences
Some hold what I would call muti -sessions regional conferences.
Some are TUG in Canada, NEUGC Framingham Mass (Early next month), OMNI in Chicago, OCEAN in southern California, There is another in Utah, (WMPCA) Wisconsin, another in Michigan LISUG Westbury NY - - - I am sure there are more.
