Just looking for a double check...

Assuming an existing homegrown command with a parm defined as
PARM KWD(TEXT) TYPE(*CHAR) LEN(60) CASE(*MIXED) +
PROMPT('Message Text')

I'd like to add EXPR(*YES)

so that the following would be valid..
mycmd text('some variable: ' *BCAT &somevar )

Is there any downside and/or gotcha I need to consider?

I can't think of one. But in the back on my mind, I'm thinking there must
be some reason IBM defaulted to EXPR(*NO).
