One your title says IFS security (which I didn't notice at first) but your example of WRKOBJ showing stuff is false. WRKLNK does though (and matches your title). This is my first comment.
My other comment was another common hack to get a list of users. If IBM cannot block that second hack due to technical reasons, how much time should they spend on tightening WRKLNK to stop showing you users in '/home/*'?
