× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.

Rob, don't you have the option to set the HMC resolution during the boot
process? At least the hardware version does, and since it's the same
code... If it's been pre-set there should be a way to make it prompt again.
I doubt you'll get IBM to bundle/update the vm-tools package or its
equivalent for each hypervisor just for the screen to adjust to whatever
size you happen to have...
