The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
I don't have a VTL, yet.
Work in progress.
I'm still using a tape library.

If using a VTL, this would be an issue, (no tape rewind/search
involved)
VTL is a virtual tape library, right? Virtual as there are no real tapes and tape drives involved but just files on disks. Why should rewinding (or search, from fast disks) be an issue? Or do I understand something completely wrong here?
