We weren't happy but didn't have a practical alternative. Of course our single S914 doesn't pull the same load as your data center. I think they said the full tank of propane would last us a week, including keeping ours Windows team up.

My boss was concerned about propane. His concern was that these generators really suck down gas when running and if you're in the 3 day blizzard it could suck down a tank. No, I am NOT talking about a 20# tank you get filled up at the gas station. Our generator is the size of a pickup truck. The whole truck, not just the motor.
Of course, if your concern is that the disaster shutdown natural gas pipe lines in the area that's a different angle.
