You ALWAYS have to be a member.... BUT There is a free membership tier that does enable you to attend a number of our offerings but not all of them.

For this one I think you needed to be a paid member. As was pointed out many user group members who were connected through their user group in the past get an individual membership for $99 this year. A FANTASTIC deal!!
