Rob,

The firmware took longer than expected, estimate was 45 minutes, actual was 60 minutes.
It stayed on one SRC code, think it was C7004000, for about 30 minutes.

V7R3 19311 CUME, TR7, 9009-42A VL940_027 firmware all successful.

Any thoughts from the group.

Paul

Rob,

Thanks for update.

I just upgraded 7063 HMC CR1 to 91 SP940 MH011837, minimum code level for VL940_027.
Took 1 hour using FTP remote server public.dhe.ibm.com.

Is this a "normal time" for this process?
Thought it should have been faster.

Management console corrective service installation in progress. Please wait...
Corrective service file offload from remote server in progress...
The corrective service file offload was successful. Continuing with HMC service installation...

Removed symlink /etc/systemd/system/default.target. Created symlink from /etc/systemd/system/default.target to /etc/systemd/system/single-user.target.
Corrective service installation was successful.

Tomorrow I'm applying V7R3 latest CUME, TR7, and upgrading 9009-42A to latest firmware, VL940_027.
