Additional to other people's comments: It could be wise to stop the scheduler by hand and make sure that there's no job in the qbatch sbs currently running.

When the system is brought down, the job will be requested to end by the OS. Depending on programming of the job, this could leave inconsistencies in database files or so.

If you have just a few entries running on the turn of the month, this problem is much less prevalent. Your mileage may vary.
