ok, let me phrase my question another way...

given a flat text data file with contents such as...

record1......................................x
record2.................................x

How can i achieve a stream file that produces...

record1......................................xrecord2.........................x

essentially records back to back, with no whitespace.

is there away?

When the drag and drop occurs, and the file is opened in pc folder,
then it
looks binary.

Please elaborate on "when drag and drop occurs". What exactly are you
referring to, or doing?

And, what is a "PC folder"? I guess a mapped network drive on Windows?

Please be concise in your descriptions, so we don't need to guess what
you mean. Probably we guess wrong, give false advice and everybody is
frustrated. :-)
