That is the understanding. We have our Gold images updated to this release and it works. I have also installed partitions from this level and they also work without issue (so far).

If I understand correctly this was effectively a missing pre-requisite situation. That is if you were 'current enough' when you installed it you were OK but if not then the magic smoke is released.

I suppose one could compare the PTF list for bothe Group 16 and group 17 if one were inclined to do so but I have not done that.

DB Group 17 has already replaced it on Fix Central.

**WARNING** If you downloaded a CUME and it has three volumes that third volume may contain DB 16! Check the file ORDLIST in the README directory. If it has this group simply delete disk three of the CUME from your image catalog. Also since that disk will contain a HIPER group you'll be deleting that so assure you have the latest HIPER group downloaded to apply. Currently that is HIPER 97.
