Would love to know which HA vendor thinks they need SST.

However, if you determine that the access is warranted, you can always
disable the profile within SST and/or change the password so they have to
contact you each time it’s used.

Another thought - how does the vendor get on to your system to use SST?

Okay, I must admit that this is a new one on me. Our HA vendor is
asking for an SST profile. I can't for the life of me figure out why
they would want such a thing, and I am loathe to give anyone SST access
to our server. It's bad enough that we're wrangling over *SERVICE
authority for their interactive profiles.

Can anyone give me a good reason that someone would want an SST profile
on our box? They evidently want Display/Alter/Dump privileges, which
sounds just a little dangerous to me.
