What are you using for an FTP client. Windows ftp client I don't believe supports FTPS. Try it in filezilla or winscp.

I'm trying to download a test fix from ftps.ecurep.ibm.com.
I'm following the directions from this link.
I obtained a valid transfer id and password from the Transfer Id management site.

Receiving the below errors.

550 SSL/TLS required on the control channel User login failed

Any thoughts from the group?
