One last point. At least honor all of us on the list by using the current
names for the technology. AS/400 and iSeries have not been built for some
time. IBM i is the name of the OS environment and it runs on POWER.

You state what you want to achieve, yet you don't state what you actually
tried or *where precisely* you need help. Which language are you trying to
use? Which environment supports the calling process (CL or PASE)? Which OS
Version are you using? Which problem are you trying to solve at large? Did
you read ILE Concepts and PASE APIs reference PDFs?

As you can see, nobody is willing to provide to you a readymade program
for free. Just to learn that you can't use it because of unknown
capabilities of you environment and thus wasted time.
