I don't know about Unix/Linux on Azure - there certainly are Windows servers there.

But the point of posts here is, there are also IBM i LPARs there. Actually, they will put POWER boxes in their data centers - as related in this link posted earlier here -

In all honesty, I was working with azure for something or other a couple of
years ago. I hated it. I think it used to be a requirement for using
their RESTful APIs or something.
