SNDPTFORD has been changed to order *CUMPKG in *SAVF format when
that format is requested.

Shouldn't that read:

always used to do. But I believe you want to install the CUMe PTFs first,
then the groups? So, do them from the image catalog, e.g. OPTVRT01, and
then, when that is "done" then do the install from QSERVICE?

Is installing these PTFs going to be the same as before using GO PTF
