Oracle calls it a "database gateway"

Try starting here
https://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/gateways/index.html

IIRC, they have a generic gateway using ODBC (JDBC?)

They also have a "transparent gateway for IBM DB@ and DRDA" which not only
makes your IBM i look like an Oracle DB to Oracle, but allows your IBM i to
see the Oracle DB as just another Db2 Server.

Very nice, but very pricey.

Hi everyone
Before I forget - we are on V7r3

We have been asked to give access to some of the DB2 tables on the AS/400
from our Oracle system using DBLINK

I googled
AS400 DBLINK
But did not find any one site that shows what needs to be done on the
AS/400 side for this to happen

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
