I have some CL commands that incorporate a mixture of logic for use with git.

I want them to be usable from a regular IBMi job as well as a bash script or bash command line from VS Code and other environments.

It seems to work fine, except for when the SSH QP0ZSPWP jobs spawn they are spawned as QSECOFR. Even though there may be some profile switching under the covers perhaps, the home directory and git info seems to be coming from the QSECOFR user which I wasn't planning on logging in to git. If a profile switch truly happens on the spawned job you would think that it should pick up my user's home directory. Definitely interesting.

What's the reason for the in-and-out-the-window design, if I may be so
bold as to ask?
