Prompt the CHGUSRPRF command, put the cursor in the field for "Status" (*ENABLED or *DISABLED) and press F1=Help, then F20=Enlarge, then page down, and you will see this:

What happens if an existing Job Schedule Entry (in WRKJOBSCDE) tries to start and the user profile is disabled?  I have a vague recollection that the job will run normally, but I can't find any documentation (one way or the other).  Does anyone know the answer to this?  Bonus points if you can point to the docs.
