This could be the result of an H-spec in ILE RPG IV incorrectly specifying e.g :
    H BNDDIR('lowercase')

for example.

You might want to run a FNDSTRPDM against your source code to search for something like that ... e.g. search for the name of that binding directory that appears in that error message?

In this particular case, the BNDDIR parameter is specified and the
binding directory is in all caps.

I'm perplexed as to where the lower case binding directory name is coming from.

This is on 7.3.
