I was hoping to use the RMTCMD Plugin to launch jobs on our system based on scripts running in a Windows environment. I think I can get around the login issue, but even testing with myself logging into our TEST system when prompted, I have been unable to launch a job using the SBMJOBJS command. I’ve tried several variations on passing the job parameter (tried both JOB(RUNTHIS) and simply specifying “RUNTHIS”).
Is RMTCMD limited to simple System i Commands only?
The response on the second example says “Job TESTEOM added.”, but it doesn’t actually run. The first example returns “Parameter JOB required”.
When I ran /plugin=ping all entries listed success.
Any advice appreciated!
Thank you,
