I see you have a few choices.
Speed up your 7.3 upgrade.
Roll your Windows upgrades back to ancient versions of Windows.
Hack your Windows registry to use SMB1
Find an old Windows machine to do your File share access.
Change from file sharing to FTP to that directory.
Some of the above steps may be useful as short term corrective action until you can implement a long term corrective action (like upgrading to IBM i 7.3).

As a side note I would also initiate a discussion with your vendor on abandoning QDLS for another directory. Who knows, you may need an upgrade from them anyway to get from 7.1 to 7.3. Especially if you are migrating machines.
