For each lpar (for example GUEST1) that is guested I may have multiple NWSD's (for example GUEST11 - GUEST17)
Each NWSD will have multiple storage links (except for the one reserved for tape and optical, for example GUEST10).

I have one lpar I was adding some more storage to it
ADDNWSSTGL NWSSTG(GUEST1109) NWSD(GUEST11) DYNAMIC(*YES)
ADDNWSSTGL NWSSTG(GUEST1209) NWSD(GUEST12) DYNAMIC(*YES)
ADDNWSSTGL NWSSTG(GUEST1309) NWSD(GUEST13) DYNAMIC(*YES)
...
So far so good.
But I messed up on one F9 and ran
ADDNWSSTGL NWSSTG(GUEST1409) NWSD(GUEST13) DYNAMIC(*YES)
That should have been GUEST14 not GUEST13.
So I tried
RMVNWSSTGL NWSSTG(GUEST1409) NWSD(GUEST13)
But that died a gristly death with CPD8F59, CPF26B9

Message . . . . : Network server storage still linked to network server
operating system

Cause . . . . . : The request is to remove the network server storage link
(RMVNWSSTGL), but the network server operating system commands to remove the
link have not been performed yet.
Recovery . . . : Perform the necessary network server operating system
commands to remove the network server storage link, then perform the
RMVNWSSTGL command again.

I had not gone on to the guest yet and went into STRSST.
