Help systems has lots of videos on their web site that walk you through the process. Pete Massiello gives sessions on this, and there are many versions of his upgrade document floating around. The steps haven't changed since the 7.3 upgrade, but you might need to change which documents you go read, memo to users etc. http://www.neugc.org/images/12A_-_What_you_need_to_know_to_do_successful_upgrades.pdf

Are you just after a document telling you how to run the upgrade process
itself ?

Is there a short list of tasks (tutorial) when upgrading from 7.3 to 7.4
with a local virtual image-catalog assuming that the prechecks are done.

something.

Cheap workaround: Click on the V7.3 link and then change the 73 in the
URL to 74 and the PDF for V7.4 will appear. But, yeah, a clickable link
to the PDF manual would be a plus...

Just an FYI, IBM will almost certainly update those pages but the
priority has been on getting i 7.4 correct and released. Differences
are available in the MTU so generally the 7.3 version will apply if no
i 7.4 docs are yet there.

Hi, Rob,

I am familiar with that feature of the Knowledge Center, and use it
fairly often.

But, I did not see that option on that page. I clicked on the
"Feedback" link and sent a message -- we shall see if anyone notices
or updates that page ...

Most Knowledge Center articles allow you to click down on a
"Change Version" and simply change it from 7.3 to 7.4
