Greetings. ACS yes, it does run on Java. BUT, you do NOT have to have
Java installed on your Windows PC. Period. You can have the ACS runtime
AND the Java runtime on a network share, when you start the ACS using the
correct startup script, the Java runtime will be started on the Widows PC
and the ACS support will then run happily in that environment. You can
use Java from the OpenJava foundation as well.
So, no java installed.......
