Did you try SNDPTFORD?

There's always a risk trying to get a PTF from the back door. For example, suppose someone sent you QSI51094 as a save file. You might try loading that only to find out if that as prereq's and/or coreq's. See the cover letter link Barbara sent you.
That's not the worst thing that could happen. What could then happen is you would need a different PTF to actually be able to run a program compiled with that PTF applied. There have been some runtime PTF's out there.

Better to get to a supported release. Failing that I would only apply it via SNDPTFORD or downloading from Fix Central.
I tend to order one last hurrah of the cume and all groups immediately prior to EOS. Not that I would be running 7.1 anymore. But for some aid with mergers and acquisitions and getting them to a supported release ASAP.
