Last month the company I worked for years ago gave me their AS400s so at the present I don't have support
When I talked to IBM Canada the only answer I got was to upgrade
Since I am only playing with the machines right now I don't want to do that.
I don't mind paying for the PTF only.

SI51094 is a 7.1PTF released 11/14/2013.
The PTF is still available via IBNM Fix Central.
Based upon the statement that IBM told you to upgrade, I assume you have software support so you should be able to download it from Fix Central.

Seriously a PTF is for a particular IBM i version and release. If
SI51094 is for i 7.3 as I think it is, no matter if you get it or not it will not apply on i 7.1.
