The new Power 9 box I recently installed is up and running and is pretty darn fast for my needs as a developer.  16GB RAM and a mirrored pair of SAS drives (283GB).  I am pretty happy with the IBM i side of things but I'd like to put the three other processors to work.  I got the virtual HMC going OK so I can create the partitions.  Now I just need some more resources.

I am a developer so I am cheap...so the question is:  Is there a hardware compatibility matrix listed somewhere?  I will most likely add some memory and disk so what I am looking for is the lowest compatible resource that I can allocate to a Linux partition that will work in a P9.  Also, I don't want the resources to affect the IBM i partition, which I would guess is possible using  the HMC.   I am more familiar with virtualization using VIOS on a BC-S so maybe the whole approach is different when all the resources are in the same CEC.
