IBM created a PTF for me to test a compiler issue.  It's only authorized for one machine, and when I go to download it, the IBM Support site sent me a Java application (a JNLP) that I had to run using the javaws program.  All well and fine.  I had to jump through a few hoops but eventually got the thing to run, and it showed me a nice little progress bar and then said it was done.

Okay.

So where is my PTF?  It's not in the folder from which I ran javaws.  It's not in my standard Windows download folder.  Now, I went back and forth a few times between downloading directly to my system or downloading to my PC, so mayb it went to my IBM i?  If so, where would it have gone?

It's amazing how convoluted a simple process like downloading a PTF can become.
