IBM identified the issue based on the sympton string: 

[1]Symptom string : 5770 SP/QRWXDLL RCFFFFFFC0 RIDS/GSSL

Turns out the issue was that our network folks run a port scanner every
Monday night and when it checks port 448 on the I it never completed the
SSL handshake.

Anyone know how to turn off this message on the I?
