Trying to find the cause of a performance issue Importing a file from MYSQL data base on a Linux server to a P9 i5/OS V7R3.
Currently using RDB import API via RPGLE, which uses jdk80/64bit in a background task.
We've exhausted the resources and support from RDB, they have been very helpful.
We pull / import every record from PSIW2BRCUSERDB using Power9 RDB API utility.
Production is physical server, with ample resources.
R&D is a VM, also with ample resources.

R&D is considerably faster than Production.
Looking for the bottleneck/root cause why Production is slower.

Process is 100% successful, no failures, simply slow as molasses.
3.5 m records should not take this long.
Any thoughts from the group on how pinpoint the cause?
Also, can anyone in the group recommend alternate solutions.
