If we're really talking cd and ls , those are usually builtins to the shell
(despite existing also as separate programs in, say, /usr/bin)
If what you're trying to do is take away SFTP users' ability to see
existence of a certain file, there are ways on Unix involving Unix group
permissions that don't map well to IBM i. It's easier on IBM i to control
what users can see via IBM i authorities. Or divy 'em out into other
directories. Maybe a process change is in order if you have "yes" files
co-mingled with "no" files in big lumps.
