Thanks for your suggestion Jack.

To answer the first question I need to do this programmatically. So I searched about JTOpen and WRKACTJOB.  I've been able to find what I need.  With JTOpen I can get a list of active jobs.  The problem I see is what if I have multiple sessions going how do I determine which job (based on the userid) is for which session?

One thought I had was to hard code a name in the Workstation ID when configuring the session.  This would give me the job name and user.  But I'd rather not have hard code a workstation id.

Thanks for getting me started down the correct path.

Hi all,

I'm drawing blanks on how to research this topic. Basically what I'm
looking to find out is the job (jobname/user/job number) which is
created when I start a terminal session in ACS.

I want to be able to access this information on the PC which started the
session.
