Anyone running PTC's Implementer change/management product in a replication H/A environment (such as Mimix or Quick-EDD)?

Let's say your source is only on your development lpar. And this promotes out to your production lpars.
In our shop we replicate our development lpar, and our main production lpar.
Development GDISYS1 is replicated to GDISYS2. The "users" just go to GDISYS and get routed to the live machine.
Production GDIHQ1 is replicated to GDIHQ2. The users just go to GDIHQ and get routed to the live machine.
So far, we've never promoted anything during a switch. If we were to do so they tell me that it would involve changing our system names, etc. I don't seem to have that trouble with our other applications.
Thought about changing both the system names from GDISYS1 and GDISYS2 to GDISYS but that has it's own issues. Before I do this sort of thing I'd like to know how others, who use PTC Implementer, handle this.

Couldn't find a hit on their Community site. Either I couldn't figure out how to ask a new topic, or I've lost the ability to do so. I could see topics I've created in the past.
