Check to see if the QCPTOIMPF data area exists.

The value will probably be: 'CPV5R2'

That's a system level option to use an older version of the CPYTOIMPF command which doesn't include the ADDCOLNAM parameter.

To override it, call:
CRTDTAARA DTAARA(QTEMP/QCPTOIMPF) TYPE(*CHAR) LEN(6) VALUE('NO')

This will allow it to work for your session but will be deleted when the job ends.

I have used this feature to include column headings into a csv file several times. Today I am working on a new LPAR which is at v7.2 and using the option ADDCOLNAM(*SQL) but it is not writing out the column headings in the first row.

Has anyone experienced this problem and if so, how did you resolve it?
