Hi Brian,

I believe the 'DEBUG Tx' things are for the server-side timeout.  If you want to use that through FTPAPI, you would use FTP_quote() to send them to the server.

If you need to control the client-side timeout, that'd be done by passing the appropriate parameter to either FTP_Conn() or FTP_Open() -- whichever one you're using in this case.   But, it doesn't sound like that's related.

We started having an error with FTP transfers between our IBM i servers.

The problem occurs with both the FTP client and with a tool we wrote using
FTPAPIR4.

After going through IBM support they are suggesting that the client side is
timing out during the transfer and suggest using the DEBUG T1 x and DEBUG
T2 x commands where x is the number of seconds for the controller and data
timeouts.

We already use the TIME command to tell the server to use a longer
timeout. Is there any way to issue those client commands using FTPAPIR4?
