Thanks for the reply. IBM is suggesting a change on the Client side and
I'm trying to figure out how to do that in FTPAPI (we can do it in IBM's
client).

try this on the FTP Server side:

1) ENDTCPSVR *FTP
2) CHGFTPA INACTTIMO(6000) /* Or the time in seconds you need to wait,
default is 300 */
3) STRTCPSVR *FTP
