Well first of all you didn't originally say that you bought some new cartridges that didn't come with any cases. Therefore my curiosity.

And the point about spending $20 for a shell case to protect a $200+ cartridge, well that shouldn't need any explanation. I was just trying to say that you data is worth protecting no ?

In any case I'm sorry if I offended you. Was having a little fun at your expense.

I still would use the $20 turtle case to protect the RDX cartridge hard drive if it was me.

Best of luck on your RDX endeavors and don't drop any RDX cartridges.

Richard, what's your point/fascination with the "breaking/losing" plastic cases.

These came without the cases (to my surprise) If I cannot find some cases I will return them.

And I am sure many a person has dropped a tape in a plastic case and have the case break.
