Jeff,

In a UIM menu there is a ":cmdline size=short" and "size=long". The latter,
though, is really the same size as a standard menu. I think the "short"
version just gives you enough room to enter a menu option, but not positive
about that.

There is a program that will display a multi-line command line: CALL
PGM(QCMD) . I set this up in a command some years ago for my boss (who
tended to be overly verbose).

Subject: Standard menu command length

All,

Is there a way to increase the command length on a standard SDA menu? I'm
thinking not.

I have a command on a menu and I added a parm. Now it won't fit. Most of
the parms are preceded by ?- because I don't want the user to be able to
change them, the new parm included.

Is my only option to encapsulate it into another command?

Thanks.
