For the command to run you'll need to look at the request messages in the
jobs job log. You could use an API such as QMHLJOBL
<https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/en/ssw_ibm_i_73/apis/QMHLJOBL.htm>
to
accomplish that.

There is a filter you need to specify when using this function, it is a
user filter. By default, if you don't specify that, it defaults to *USER
which is the current user running the sql. So you will want to specify the
JOB_USER_FILTER as *ALL to see all user jobs on the system in a jobq. Your
select statement will look like this:

SELECT *
FROM TABLE(QSYS2.JOB_INFO(JOB_STATUS_FILTER => '*JOBQ', JOB_USER_FILTER =>
'*ALL' )) X

All scheduled jobs returned.

However, the "command to run" is not included in this function.

That may take another/different function.

Rob,

I see 10 jobs scheduled in jobq GPL/CM_MULTI with a status of SCD.
What am I missing?

SELECT *
FROM TABLE(QSYS2.JOB_INFO(JOB_STATUS_FILTER => '*JOBQ')) X

Runs and returns nothing.

I don't think it matters which scheduler is used.
These jobs were not submitted by a scheduler, but by a user with a future
date/time.

Joe,

Good point. However I know that provides information from WRKJOBSCDE job
entries but I think he's using the "advanced job scheduler".

In that case, you need the SCHEDULED_JOB_INFO table.

Remember, these jobs are scheduled and not yet active.

Is there a command or tool that will print the schedule date, schedule
time, command to run for jobs scheduled in a jobq.
We are migrating from a P7 to P9, and these cannot be saved/restored,
will be lost, need to be manually reentered on new system.

Thank You
