See this IBM site:

After the New Year, it has been reported by numerous customers that they are unable to search the Service Action Log within SST. This is a known issue and documented in APAR MA47217 with PTF's available to resolve: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=nas2MA47217

There are PTFs available from r710 and up:

R710 MF65228
R720 MF65214
R730 MF65215

Looks like v6 is out of luck.

Subject: SST problem -- V6R1

On our V6 box, I went to clear the warning light after a power failure,
and "Work with service action log" now gives me the error message
The 'FROM' Date/Time is not correct. The proper format is shown on the screen
(and a similar message for the "TO" date) for dates in 2019.

Anybody know of a workaround?
