I'd suggest getting the full JDK for that version. There are some odd build issues around that release that do not seem to happen when the full JDK is installed. If that doesn't work, fall back to the IBM supplied SDK80 you can get directly from IBM developerworks https://developer.ibm.com/javasdk/downloads/

While OpenJDK has Java 11 out, IBM has not technically released Java 11 yet for any of their platforms, so you're not using the IBM version of Java at this point.

Importance: Low

I'm on Win7 so I don't have that option. No printer works for me.

The only thing that's changed is the java I have installed. I removed Oracle's and installed the IBM one.

This is the name of the zip file I downloaded:
OpenJDK11-jre_x64_windows_openj9_11.0.1_13.zip.

I've done this on 5 desktops so far and just found 1 that works. It was set to Portrait. The other were Landscape. Once I set the other to Portrait, they work.

But Landscape used to work . . .

Can someone who is using the open source java from IBM try a 5250
print screen and see what the results are?

All,

I've changed a few desktops from the Oracle java to the IBM open
source one.

On each of these, print screens from a 5250 session no longer work.
All
I
get is lines, no text.

Ideas?
