I'm try to run this command (on V5R4)



ADDTCPRTE RTEDEST(*DFTROUTE) SUBNETMASK(*NONE) NEXTHOP('192.168.1.255')



I receive this error:

the value 192.168.1.255 in the parameter NEXTHOP is not valid

TCP/IP iter not added

Error code 0006

0006 - The host ID portion of the NEXTHOP parameter contains only one

Where am i wrong ?
