RE: DB2 Symmetric Multiprocessing (option 26 of 5770SS1) Was: Performance tuning

The most obvious alternative is to prefix your month end with a couple of
performance commands. For example, decades ago we had two job schedule
entries: NIGHT and DAY. One tuned our system for a batch heavy night
shift and the other for an interactive heavy day shift.
