We have a number of processes that read/write files to the IFS.
In one case our ERP system writes a file to a folder on the IFS and another process sFTPs the file to an outside vendor and then archives the file to another folder on the IFS for safe keeping.
The ERP system and the sFTP system jobs run under different user profiles and have different permission needs.
The ERP system uses CPYTOIMPF to get the file to the IFS.
What controls inheritance of permissions for this file?
We want the process to inherit permission of the folder but that is NOT happening.
