In case you, or anyone else, are interested I've set up a quick PHPGrid which is live against Db2 that you can have a play with if you wish.

I added text to the page to show the actual PHP code and list the features that should work.

I have made no attempt to make the page look pretty - not my thing <grin>

I've tried the WOW CE before, but never had much luck with it. May have to check it out again.

Personally I tend to use PHPGrid for this because:

a) I already own it (although it is really cheap so that should not be a barrier)

b) To do the base Crud app takes only about 6 lines of code

c) I can take my time "prettying" it up after it is working. i.e. 10 minutes after I start!

Giovanni has a utility on Easy400 called CGI_WRKDBF which you could pretty up if you don't like the interface. http://easy400.net/cgiwrkdbf/html/page1.htm?ts=20181106210808847000 <http://easy400.net/cgiwrkdbf/html/page1.htm?ts=20181106210808847000>

Another SQL driven option is WOW CE from Planet J which is free and very powerful http://www.planetjavainc.com/index.html <http://www.planetjavainc.com/index.html>
