But you can't do ANYTHING if you're not connected. And that's my issue.

Being mobile and customer to customer if my email isn't local to ME personally it's too slow and hit and miss access. More customers every year block access to outside mail services. I have to crank up my hotspot to get access and with mail on my laptop it means that I only need to pull new mail and send. Any searches or looking things up is local.

I have used Thunderbird forever and mostly still like it.

RedHat has been there with IBM z for about 18 years. It has been
